Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Tomorrow


Community support information and free HIV testing and health screenings will be offered in recognition of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day at the Damon City Campus, 4th Floor Atrium on Tuesday, Feb. 7. The event is hosted by the Health and Physical Education Department and AIDS Rochester.  

From 11 am to 2 pm, 15-20 different agency representatives, including Planned Parenthood, Westside Health Services, MOCHA (Men of Color Health Awareness) Black Men Latino Men Health Crisis, and McCree McCuller Wellness Center, will be available in the Atrium to answer questions and share information about their services. A registered nurse will also be on hand to give free glucose screenings and blood pressure checks as well!

MCC students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. .
