May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Sign up for Mental Health First Aid Training!

Join us in spreading awareness for Mental Health Awareness Month by signing up for Mental Health First Aid training! This training is sponsored by the Counseling Center & Disability Services, and will be led by Shannon Glasgow, MS, LMHC, Director, Title IX and Michael Johnson, MS Ed, NCC from the Student Engagement Center.

There is still room for additional participants in our May training:

This 9-hour training program teaches participants to help others who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. (https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/cs/)

We will be offering the training in a two day format on:

  • May 28th and 29th, 9:00am-2:00pm, Downtown Campus, High Falls Room.

Please email Shannon Glasgow at sglasgow@monroecc.edu to sign up for the training.
