Accessible Textbooks for Students

As we wrap-up with the Fall 2020 semester and continue to support students in this remote setting, please keep in mind the various barriers that all students may be experiencing. Providing materials in an accessible format can be helpful for all students. Selecting textbooks that have an e-book and / or audio version accommodates a variety of learners with different reading abilities. When a student has access to an accessible digital textbook, they can read the textbook aloud through various reading software programs.  Accessible textbooks can improve access for all students regardless of their learning style. Please keep this in mind when you prepare for future semesters as a wide range of learners may benefit from accessible materials.

We hope you have a safe and healthy holiday.
