Faculty: Take Advantage of the MCC Libraries' Library Instruction Program

In order to successfully complete college-level research assignments, our students need to navigate a complicated and ever-evolving information landscape. According to a research report from Project Information Literacy (Head), many students say that the hardest part of the research process is just getting started!

Our library instruction program helps students develop the research skills they need to successfully complete projects and assignments. Librarians can make the research process easier for students by teaching them how to search strategically, evaluate the sources they find, and much more.

A librarian can visit your class online, meet with your students one-on-one via Zoom, and even create an online research guide tailored to your course or a specific research assignment. Some faculty are incorporating the online tutorials from our Blackboard-based College Researcher Digital Badging Program into their courses.
