The college family is saddened by the passing of Lou Edna Buggs, a retiree from Building Services, on February 12.
Lou Edna came to MCC in 1970 and worked briefly in the Housekeeping Department. She returned to MCC in 1980 until her retirement in 1988 from Housekeeping. During her career at MCC, she was recognized as Custodian of the Month for going above and beyond her duties.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Buggs Sr., daughter Carolyn Ann Buggs and son John Pack. She is survived by four sons and nine daughters, sisters Louise Haynes and Lucille Lovett, and dozens of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
