Homecoming Brunch and Cooking Demonstration

Don’t miss the opportunity to attend an exclusive brunch and crêpe-making demonstration at Simply Crêpes in Historic Downtown Canandaigua.  There are still seats available for the Saturday, October 15, brunch beginning at 11:30 am.

During your two-hour “CrepExperience” you will learn the history of crêpes as well as learn how to make a basic crêpe and enjoy a three-course brunch.  MCC hospitality program students will participate in the day.

The menu will feature a mimosa made with Red Jacket Orchards juice and NYS champagne; oatmeal crème brulée topped with crème brulée, bananas and fresh berries; a breakfast entrée crêpe with whisked eggs, NYS cheddar, choice of Bostrom Farms maple sausage, spicy Andouille sausage or smoked apple wood bacon and for dessert a pumpkin dessert crêpe.  Simply Crêpes is owned by MCC alumni Karen ’81, Pierre ’78 and Nicole Héroux and is located at 101 South Main Street in Canandaigua.

Tickets are $50 and include a $25 donation in support of student scholarships at MCC.
