The Department of Counseling and Testing in collaboration with Academic Services launched a new initiative, the While You're Away … WINS workshop series in Fall 2002. The response from faculty and students has been very positive. We want to remind you of this service and encourage you to take advantage of this unique program.
This series of workshops is designed to help students learn more about how to succeed in college as well as provide you with an alternative to canceling class. Here is how WINS works: When you know at least two weeks in advance that it will be necessary to cancel a class, you contact the Counseling and Testing Department and request a member of our staff attend your class and teach a workshop from an existing list of topics.
