We are pleased to have "https://www.aacc.nche.edu/About/Awards/Pages/bumphus.aspx" Dr. Walter G. Bumphus, president and CEO of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), join us for All College Days on Thursday, Aug. 28. The program starts at 9 a.m. in the Theatre.
His talk, “The Role Faculty and Staff Play in Empowering Community Colleges,” will touch on AACC’s 2014 report Empowering Community Colleges to Build the Nation’s Future. An opportunity for questions will follow his remarks.
Dr. Bumphus has spent more than four decades in higher education serving in various capacities, including as senior administrator, college president, system chancellor and a leader in the private educational sector.
He has received several national honors for his work.
