MCC students in Franzie Weldgen's Comic and Sequential Arts class will be giving away complementary copies of their latest collaborative anthology comic by participating in this year's National Free Comic Book Day at Comics Etc. located at 274 N. Goodman St. in the Village Gate. Stop by this Saturday, May 2nd between 11:30am and 3pm for FREE COMICS! Free Comic Book Day efforts were started in 2002 to help promote literacy programs. Each year on the first Saturday in May comic retailers across the U.S. give out over 2 million comics for free. Come and join the fun!
