Blaine Grindle Appointed Associate Vice President, Facilities

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Blaine Grindle as the Associate Vice President for Facilities, approved by the Board of Trustees yesterday. Blaine has been serving MCC as Interim Associate Vice President of Facilities since May of 2018. He is a seasoned facilities professional with 36 years of experience in higher education and facilities management. Blaine's most recent role in the Facilities Division was working as Director of Facilities overseeing the Building Services department. As a member of the Facilities Management team since 2006, Blaine has provided project expertise for all construction projects while directing the Engineering Services staff. In 2018, he was the recipient of the MCC Award for Excellence in Professional Service. Prior to MCC, Blaine was the Vice President of Facilities at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School since 1999. From 1993 to 1999, he served as Director of Facilities at St. John Fisher College. Blaine was a Senior Staff Facilities Engineer and Project Manager for Gleason Works on University Avenue in Rochester. He holds a City of Rochester Stationary Engineer 1st Class License and also a City of Rochester Refrigeration Operator 4th Class License.
