Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie at DCC

The Sociology Film Series at DCC and the DCC Campus Center present the hilarious film Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie (2005).  This film features Drew Carey (a former Marine), Jeffrey Ross, Kathy Kinney and other comedians as they follow in the footsteps of the late Bob Hope, touring Iraq and entertaining the troops.  The film and discussion will center on sharing the healing power of laughter, as well as the human cost of war.

Date: Friday, December 8, 2006
Time: 12:00 noon (view film with discussion to follow)
Place: Room #4151 Damon City Campus
Moderator: Christine Plumeri, Sociology

Light refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your lunch, too!  This event is free and open to the public, although given the adult content, no one under age 17 can attend.  Faculty, please encourage student attendance - there is a laugh or two in it for everyone!

Please see the attached document below for additional details and direct any questions to Christine Plumeri, x1768 or <mailto:cplumeri@monroecc.edu>.
