Wirley Elected Vice Chair SUNY Chief Information Officers

Eileen Wirley, Associate VP Technology Services & CIO, has been elected Vice Chair of the SUNY Council of Chief Information Officers (CCIO) for a two year term, after which she will serve as Chair.

The SUNY CCIO is a leadership forum established to leverage campus and system expertise to advance strategically important services and technologies. The membership consists of the senior IT leaders from SUNY campuses, System Administration and various SUNY organizations.

The council values integrity, collaboration and creativity. It strives to be transparent and open in all efforts and decision-making processes, always acting in the best interest of each campus and the SUNY community. The council works to actively share experiences, knowledge, and information. It endeavors to provide leadership in fostering innovative solutions, gathering different perspectives and paradigms and creating new opportunities for stable, sustainable, leading edge services and technology.
