September 11th Remembrance Walk Dedication Ceremony

The student effort that began nine months ago will be realized today at the
dedication ceremony for the September 11th Remembrance Walk from 8:00 - 9:00
a.m. at the east entrance of Building 10. Hundreds from the Western New York
community are expected to join the MCC family to remember the victims of the
terrorist attacks one year ago and to celebrate the vision and success of our
student leaders.

Rochester Police Chief Robert Duffy, an MCC alumnus from the classes of 1975
and 1988 will serve as keynote speaker. Representatives from the 98th Division
Army Reserves will also participate in the ceremony.

Coverage of the ceremony will be streamed across MCC's multiple campuses. If you can't be with us for the program, please tune in via your computer. (From MCC's homepage, click on 'Quick Links,' scroll down to and click on 'Video Server.' Click on 'video content' then click on MCC Live Channel #1.) The video will also be available on the College Web site following the ceremony.
