The National Junior College Athletic Association recognized the Monroe Community College Women’s Swimming and Diving Team as an Academic Team-of-the-Year. To be selected, a team must have earned a cumulative team G.P.A. of 3.00 for 2004 spring semester. MCC earned a 3.12 team G.P.A. and was one of only two women’s swimming teams to be recognized nationally.
