RPN Co-Hosts Infant-Toddler Conference


The United Way and the Rochester Parent Network will host an Infant-Toddler Conference for area child care practitioners on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5 and 6, at MCC’s Damon City Campus. The interactive conference will focus on quality care, brain development and caregiver-child attachments as explored by speakers from ZERO TO THREE: National Center for Infant, Toddlers and Families*, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C.

If you know a child care practitioners, please encourage him or her to call 585.262.1541 and register by Oct. 29. Registration fee is $30 and includes the book “Caring for Infants and Toddlers in Groups: Developmentally Appropriate Practice.” Participants will receive certificates for continuing education units and New York State Office of Children and Family Services training hours following the conference.
