Bert Gamory (Engineering Science and Physics) and Joan Moorehead (Admissions) participated in a recent meeting of True Networking Thursdays (TNT), an African-American networking organization. The meeting was centered on the benefits of continuing education. It was covered by Democrat and Chronicle Reporter Daniel Wallace in the Jan. 27 issue.
TNT is dedicated to the personal and professional growth of members of the African-American community. The group has met every third Thursday of the month for the last 10 years.
