Last Week's COVID-19 Test Processing and Results

SUNY notified us that, due to a change in sample labeling protocols, MCC COVID-19 pooled tests were not processed last week. 

What does this mean?

  • We cannot confirm that students, faculty and staff who participated in testing on March 23 or March 24 tested negative for COVID-19. All participants were notified via email yesterday.
  • Individual test results from last week will show as “Pending” in the SUNY Upstate Medical site.
  • Our labeling procedure is now updated to ensure this week’s tests are processed properly and in a timely manner.

If you choose to get tested at another provider this week, please submit your test results to klowe5@monroecc.edu.

Even after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, you must continue to test and follow other MCC safety protocols such as wearing face coverings, frequently washing your hands, and socially distancing. The vaccine does not impact testing results.
