Our previous notices of the quickly approaching deadline for internal funding opportunities gave you the dates, but did you know the categories? The following categories are available:
- Annual Diversity Project Awards: Operating funds that support innovated projects that elevate diversity and inclusiveness as a core value embraced throughout the College. These projects should: encourage and educate, listen and engage, plan and implement, and promote and celebrate diversity.
- MCC Foundation: ($1,000-3,000) Funds support new and innovative projects that have a direct benefit to students in the classroom or provide opportunities to enhance excellence in teaching.
- Citizen’s Bank Endowed Chair: ($3,340) Funds award teaching excellence and assists faculty with specific projects that clearly benefit teaching. These funds are through the MCC Foundation.
- Henry P. French, Sr. Endowed Chair in Business Administration/Economics: Funds to encourage students to focus on a business career; potential applications should contact the business department. These funds are through the MCC Foundation.
- Perkins Funds: ($10,000 or more) External funds that support career & technical student success.
- Strategic Planning Funds: ($5,000+) Operating funds that support future-focused projects tied to the strategic plan.
