MCC Alumni Reunite at PAETEC Music Tour Event in Florida

Monroe Community College Foundation representatives Brenda Babitz, president; Mark Pastorella, director of alumni, annual and planned giving; and Karen Shaw, administrative assistant and secretary to the MCC Foundation Board of Directors, reunited with MCC alumni in Tampa, Fla., on April 4 and 5. The MCC Foundation, in partnership with PAETEC Holding Corp., extended a special invitation to the MCC alumni living in Florida to attend the kickoff of PAETEC’s five-city music tour. The event attracted over 30 area alumni from all over the state. Alumni had the opportunity to attend a special reception, meet PAETEC Chairman and CEO Arunas Chesonis and his wife Pamela, an MCC alumna, as well as other MCC alumni and friends and enjoy two nights of exciting music at Tampa’s Ford Amphitheatre.

PAETEC, one of the nation's leading business communications companies, has become a valued partner with the MCC Foundation in many ways, including the Chesonis Family Foundation’s $1.5 million challenge to build a fitness and recreational facility at our Brighton Campus.
