The "What Happened to the Class of 2019?" Report Is Now Available

The "What Happened to the Class of 2019?" book and brochure are now available electronically at https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/research/what-happened-to-the-class-of/ .

Some of the highlights from the report include:

  • 1,228 (62 percent) of the graduates had been in transfer (A.A. and A.S. degree) programs.

 

  • 547 (28 percent) of the graduates had been in career (A.A.S. degree) programs.

 

  • 196 (10 percent) of the graduates had been in certificate programs.

 

  • We have outcome data on 62 percent of the graduates. It came from the Graduate Follow-Up Survey, National Student Clearinghouse, and various MCC departments. The data shows that...
    • 61 percent of graduates are either employed or continuing their education.
    • Graduates were hired by 279 different employers.
    • Graduates transferred to 117 different colleges and universities.
    • Of the career and certificate program graduates who secured full-time employment, 93 percent are in jobs related to their major and 93 percent are employed locally.
    • SUNY Brockport continues to be the #1 receiving campus, with 194 of our graduates transferring there. RIT was second with 101.
