It is my pleasure to provide two important updates on the continued development of the MCC Corporate College.
1.) In the 2013-14 academic year, MCC Corporate College delivered 353 courses, enrolled more than 5,700 students, and generated more than $1.7 million in unsubsidized revenues. A little known fact – MCC Corporate College also generated 38 student FTEs, that equates to approximately $225,000 in revenue for the College, and awarded a total of 1,144 college credits. You’ll find more MCC Corporate College performance details in the attached by-the-numbers card.
2.) In the fall of 2014, MCC Corporate College launched www.workforceforward.com <https://www.workforceforward.com> . As a standalone website workforceforward.com <https://www.workforceforward.com> offers an improved customer experience, online registration, and clear explanation for each facet of the Corporate College audiences – professional development, corporate training, workforce development, and the newest section, degrees and certificates. Workforceforward.com is serving as a marketing and communication channel targeted to businesses and professionals throughout the greater Rochester region. Adding a section for degrees and certificates is intended to provide a platform for marketing MCC credit programs packaged to appeal to business audiences. Integrating credit and noncredit programming is an Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services divisional priority, so stay tuned. More initiatives are to come.
