Open Forums on MCC's Presidential Search

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee invites you to attend an open forum on MCC's Presidential Search. The forums are opportunities for you to provide input to inform the upcoming search for a permanent president. Your feedback will inform the presidential job description and marketing/advertising materials. Come to the forum to share your insights on the qualifications and characteristics our next president should have, as well as what you feel are the most important priorities for our next president.

Presidential Search Advisory Committee Co-chairs Dr. Barbara Lovenheim, MCC Board of Trustees, and Becky Babcock, Special Committee for Administrative Affairs (SCAA), along with other members of the advisory committee, will facilitate each of the open forums on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, March 23: Downtown Campus, High Falls A/B, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 24: Brighton Campus, Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Empire Room), 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 25: Brighton Campus, Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B), 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 26; Applied Technologies Center, Room 156, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.

If your department or area would like to hold a focus group to gather feedback instead of attending an open forum, please reach out to any member of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee to schedule a group. Student focus groups will also be held.

Beginning the week of March 23, an online survey will also be available, offering an additional way for you to provide input. A link to the survey will be provided to all members of the campus community.
