Dr. Jackson Katz Returns to MCC -- Save the Date!

Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Strategies co-founder and leading international violence prevention educator, Dr. Jackson Katz, is returning to MCC on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.! As a fundraiser for RESOLVE, as well as part of our Enough is Enough Week programming, the Sociology Film Series is hosting a screening of Tough Guise 2: Violence, Manhood and American Culture and a talk-back with Dr. Katz following the film. These  issues are more relevant than ever.  We hope that you can attend and/or encourage student attendance.

MVP-MCC has been part of the MVP multicultural global team for almost 10 years, offering certification trainings, curricular infusion, co- and extra-curricular programming, an annual scholarship funded by the MCC Foundation and more.  To learn how you can get involved, please see our information sheet attached or contact me at cplumeri@monroecc.edu.
