Squires to be Featured Author at Book Launch Reception


Rick Squires,Collection Development Librarian, will be one of the authors featured when Rochester Regional Library Council and the University of Rochester River Campus Libraries present:

Celebrating Our Authors! A book launch reception

January 18, 2007

4:00—6:00 p.m., Welles-Brown Room, Rush Rhees Library at the University of Rochester

 *Wine & Cheese served

The event will also feature Suzanne Bell, Economics/Data Librarian at University of Rochester River Campus Libraries; Mary Jo Gigliotti, Drake Library, SUNY Brockport; and Alice Carli, Sibley Library, Eastman School of Music. Each of these published authors will talk briefly about their experiences with writing and getting published. The evening will include refreshments and time for networking.

Squires’ biography “Stern fathers 'neath the mould : the Lovecraft family in Rochester” was published in 1995.  

This program is co-sponsored by the Rochester Regional Library Council and the University of Rochester River Campus Libraries, and supported by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds and/or Regional Bibliographic Databases (RBDB) funds, granted by the New York State Library.

Parking: Parking will be in the Library lot. On entering the UR campus, stop at the Information Booth to receive a parking tag and token.
