Welcome these New Employees


Our welcome of new employees continues:

Blaine Grindle is the director of engineering in our Facilities Department.  Blaine has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology from RIT and an A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SUNY Alfred.  Before coming to MCC, Blaine was the vice president of facilities, campus service and auxiliaries at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.

Stacey Gulde is an instructor in the Chemistry/Geosciences Department.  Stacey earned her Ph.D. at the University of Buffalo and a B.S. from Siena College.  She has been an adjunct and also served as a teaching assistant during her graduate studies.

Angela Hamm was recently hired as a dispatcher for the Public Safety Department.   She has a B.A. in criminal justice from RIT.  Angela is an adjunct lab instructor for MCC’s Public Safety Training Facility Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) classes.  She most recently worked for the Gates Volunteer Ambulance as an EMT. 

Jennifer Hill is an instructor in the Biology Department.  Jennifer earned her Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico and a B.S. from Purdue University. She has taught at North Central Michigan College and also served as a director of NorthWings, a raptor rehabilitation and education program.

Ryan Jackson is an instructor in the Visual and Performing Arts Department.  Ryan earned a M.A. at the University of Memphis and a B.F.A. from the Rochester Institute of Technology.  Ryan has previously taught at Ithaca College, RIT and the University of Memphis.

Margaret Kaminsky is an instructor in the Chemistry/Geosciences Department.  Margaret earned  a M.S. from RIT and a B.S. from Lehigh University.  She has been an adjunct for the department since 2003 and previously was a tenured science teacher at Penfield High School.

Joel Kaplan is the maintenance mechanic I at the Public Safety Training Facility.  Joel was previously a self-employed contractor who has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.  He is a highly skilled carpenter/craftsman. 

Yenal Kucuker is a lecturer in the Chemistry/Geosciences Department.  Yenal earned a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo and has taught at MCC as an adjunct.  Yenal has completed an international relations program in Moscow and has served as an interpreter and translator for several organizations in Monroe County.

Christian Kull is an advisor in the Counseling and Advising Center.  He received a M.S. in adult education/student personnel administration and a B.S. in sociology/ psychology from Buffalo State College.  Christian comes to MCC from Alfred State College where he had been working for the past three years as an admissions counselor. 

Joanne Landry is a receptionist in the Admissions Office.  Joanne has held various positions throughout MCC since 1993 in the bookstore, admissions and student services.
