Global Union International Students Association presents "Debating at Harvard"

Another year, another "Great Debate"!

Once again this year, the Global Union International Students Association will be attending the National Harvard University Model United Nations Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, February 12-16, 2004.  This conference is the oldest, largest and most prestigious simulation of its kind, bringing together nearly 2,000 students and faculty advisors from colleges and universities across the globe. It provides students with a unique opportunity to experience the challenges of international negotiations, debate and diplomacy.

The officers of the Global Union are getting ready to develop a powerful team to compete this year.  They are again offering a unique opportunity for 10 students on the MCC campus to be selected to be a part of this year's competing debate team.  Please help us in that process by letting interested students know about this event and how they can have a chance to be picked for this year's debating team.

Interviews will be taking place three times during the month of October.  Any interested students who would like to try out, should stop by the Campus Center (3-126) to see Shirley Batistta-Provost to fill out an application and for an interview sign-up date.

For your convenience please pass out the attachment below in your class.
