Telecommuting Update - Pilot Extended to August 31

With Cabinet support, the College, FA, and CSEA have agreed to extend the Telecommuting Pilot to August 31, 2022.

Those who wish to telecommute between June 1 - August 31 or wish to continue to telecommute during that timeframe, should submit requests via the MCC Telecommuting Program Pilot Application.

To access the form, log into myMCC.  Click on "Employees" and then on "Employee Essentials."  Locate the "Human Resources" section on the right side of the "Employee Essentials" webpage.  Click on "Telecommuting Pilot Program" and you will be brought to a new webpage with a link to the application at the bottom.

As employees and departments consider potential options to modify summer schedules, please remember that all requests must be evaluated through the lens of whether approval will result in disruption to departmental operations or negatively impact student access to information and resources necessary for their success.  In addition, one's individual job duties and specific departmental functions must be considered.

Supervisors will consider employee requests in the following order to ensure appropriate staffing levels during the summer months:

1. Contractual time off requests (vacation, personal, or sick time)

2. Requests to participate in the Summer Hours schedule (June 3 - July 29)  See May 10 Trib article about Summer 2022 Hours

3. Requests to telecommute (June 1 - August 31)

If you have questions, please consult with your supervisor, Human Resources, or an FA or CSEA representative.
