Downtown Campus Dating Violence Events Planned

RESTORE Sexual Assault Services and Mentors in Violence Prevention at MCC (MVP-MCC) are hosting two dating violence events featuring the work of the One Love Foundation. Both events will feature videos and discussions lead by Karly Nocera, RESTORE and MVP-MCC leaders. Details are as follows:

#Behind the Post - posting beautiful or romantic photos does not always mean the person is happy or safe. Learn how to help a friend and join us for a discussion of the warning signs of unhealthy relationships on Monday, February 12th from 12:00-1:00pm in Room 200B on our Downtown Campus

Escalation - this is a powerful film-based workshop following a young couple through the charming beginnings of their relationship and shows how unhealthy behaviors can escalate into abuse. This event is Tuesday, February 13th from 2:00-3:30pm in High Falls B on the 3rd floor of our Downtown Campus

Please see the attached fliers for more and faculty, please encourage student attendance at these important, timely events!
