Cynthia Langston Joins MCC Foundation Board


Cynthia M. Langston was appointed to the Monroe Community College Foundation Board of Directors for a three-year term. As a director, Ms. Langston will help lead the Foundation’s efforts to provide students the scholarship support they need to complete their educational goals at Monroe Community College.

Ms. Langston is the vice president of the Enterprise Project Delivery Group within Enterprise IT Division of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. She oversees a portfolio of over 90 active projects, working collaboratively with business partners to ensure cost-effective, high-quality implementation of enterprise-wide projects. Prior to joining Excellus, Ms. Langston led initiatives at Health Care Service Corporation and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She also has extensive experience in manufacturing and spent 15 years as an international consultant, where she led large, global IT implementations in Sydney, Tokyo, London, Singapore, Scotland and Seoul.

She volunteers as a financial officer for her church and also serves as a mentor for young adults.

Ms. Langston holds an MBA in human resources and financial management from Lake Forest Graduate School and a bachelor of science degree in information systems from Purdue University. She and her husband have three daughters and two granddaughters.
