MCC Fights Email Viruses

If our computers could just cough or sneeze, it would be easy to know when there is a virus lurking. But then it would be too late - thankfully CNS specialists and technicians work around the clock monitoring the MCC network systems and protecting our computers from the onslaught of well-publicized viruses and lesser known bugs that attack the college daily.

This week many of you have been receiving emails that have been successfully cleaned through the MCC Antivirus software, Antigen. The senders are masquerading as the Monroecc.edu Team.  Ignore these e-mails and simply delete them.

CNS posts proactive virus updates on the TechNEWS site. MCC's e-mail antivirus software is taking care of current viruses and removing the harmful attachments from email that is being sent to you. Please reference our Proactive Virus Update site often for updates and any directions CNS may recommend.
