Sign Up Today for Diversity Workshop

“If we as educators and leaders do not courageously examine and shift our own attitudes, beliefs and behaviors,” says professor, author and diversity trainer Gary R. Howard, “then nothing else will significantly improve in the performance of our students or in the equality of our institutions.”

Reflect upon how to transform mindfulness of diversity and inclusion to meaningful practice during this year’s Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D. Diversity Series. Howard will present at two keynote addresses at Brighton and Damon City campuses, as well as two workshops, also held on both campuses – on Nov. 15 and 16.

The November 15th interactive workshops are designed specifically for MCC faculty, administration and staff and will be offered on:

Damon City Campus: 9 to 10:45 a.m. in Room 4193
Brighton Campus: 3 to 4:45 p.m. in Monroe A and B, Warshof Conference Center, R.Thomas Flynn Campus Center.

RSVP to Sherry Parks (<<mailto:sparks@monroecc.edu>> or 292-2186) by November 6th for a workshop so that organizers can create enough educational materials for the attendees.
