MCC Peer Assistant Network Takes to the Streets on Make A Difference Day


The Peer Assistant Network at Monroe Community College, comprised of peer leaders, mentors and advisors, will be cleaning streets, sidewalks and parking lots along Jay and Ames streets on Make A Difference Day, Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The group will meet at Holy Family Church, 415 Ames St., before fanning out to help beautify the neighborhood. Participants will also hand out candy, coloring books and crayons to area children.

The Peer Assistant Network is comprised of MCC students who assist faculty and staff with student orientation, advisement and registration.
