Dr. Samuel Stabins Memorabilia Exhibit

The MCC Archives and the Leroy V. Good Library are pleased to unveil an exhibit dedicated to Dr. Samuel Stabins and the significant role he played in the founding of MCC. The exhibit, made possible through a grant from the MCC Foundation’s annual grants program, is located in the Bausch & Lomb Lobby of the Flynn Center.

Dr. Stabins was a pivotal figure in the early efforts to found this institution. He served as board chair during both the inauguration of the college on Alexander Street and oversaw the establishment of the Brighton campus. His service both to the college and the community is legendary. His spirit of service is truly a foundational value that still shapes our institution. A formal dedication is scheduled for June 17, 2004.
