The Curriculum Office is pleased to announce that Michael Heel, Coordinator of Academic Assessment and Program Review, received a $500 competitive travel grant from the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) to attend a workshop held at New York City College of Technology (CUNY), Brooklyn, New York, on September 24. The workshop, “IPEDS Data and Benchmarking: Supporting Decision Making & Institutional Effectiveness,” was sponsored by the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and provided attendees with training in utilizing statistics reported by institutions of higher education for the purposes of analysis and comparison.
