Did you miss the Faculty Fulbright informational meeting?  No problem!  Read on for more information and/or contact Gale Lynch, Director of Global Education and International Services.

We had over 20 faculty members attend the Fulbright Lunch and Learn on May 4th  with Peter Vanderwater, Director of Outreach for the Fulbright Scholar Program, presenting on the VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES Fulbright offers to COMMUNITY COLLEGE FACULTY.  He began his presentation by saying he was here to DISPEL MANY MYTHS ABOUT FULBRIGHT GRANTS, the first one being that they are only for faculty from elite four year universities.  The second myth he dispelled was that Fulbright grants are for faculty on semester or yearlong sabbaticals.

His PRIMARY MESSAGE was that there are a VARIETY OF FULBRIGHT GRANTS and he ENCOURAGED OUR FACULTY TO APPLY.

The Global Education and International Students office is here to help faculty access opportunities such as these.  We are COMMITTED TO HELPING FACULTY put together competitive applications for the various Fulbright programs and ensuring that MCC becomes a top producer of Faculty Fulbright grants!
