Creating Diverse and Inclusive Textbooks Webinar

On campuses everywhere conversations and courses of action around diversity, equity, and inclusion are improving education. But why should textbooks and other course materials be diverse and inclusive? And how do we ensure that they are?

OpenStax Editorial Director Anthony Palmiotto will speak with Sabia Prescott, Senior Program Associate with the Education Policy program at New America; Jason Lambert, Assistant Professor of Management at Texas Woman's University; and Kharl Reynado, recent University of Connecticut graduate and former student blogger for OpenStax. The panelists will share their experiences modifying textbooks and other course materials to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, as well as the impact those efforts had.

To take part in the conversation about making textbooks more inclusive, join this OpenStax webinar on Wednesday, November 20 at 12 p.m.
