Building Online Student Success (BOSS) Program

BOSS is a program designed to assist students with learning about how to be successful in an online environment.

Prior to the start of the semester, students who are new to online learning can elect to attend a 1 ½ hour, face-to-face BOSS workshop. The workshop covers topics such as time management, balancing responsibilities and setting priorities, study skills, MCC resources, and the SLN Password process.

Please encourage students who are enrolled in online courses to take advantage of the BOSS program.  BOSS is offered every semester at the Brighton and Damon City campuses. For students enrolled in Spring 2006 courses,

Brighton Campus - Bldg. 11, Room 108:
10:30 am – noon on Jan. 11
10:30 am – noon on Jan. 14
2:30 - 4 pm on Jan. 17
6:30 – 8 pm on Jan. 19

Damon Campus - Room 5124"
10:30 am – noon on Jan. 13

Have students bring their e-mail address (either home or MCC), course name and section number, and their social security number to the workshop.
