Sponsored by the Rochester Association for the Education of Young Children (RAEYC) April is celebrated in our community as the Month of the Young Child. Highlighting the month’s activities is the Children’s Film Festival featuring many children’s films shown at 40 different locations around the community throughout the month. These films seek to offer an alternative to the violence children are often exposed to in videos in the mainstream media.
