Italy Summer Program - 2018 Informational Meeting

MONROE COMMUNITY COLLEGE AT FLORENCE UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS

Students, would you like to take summer school classes, earn 9 credits, and live in Florence Italy next May 26 - June 23, 2018? Would you like to visit Rome, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Carrara, Parma and Montalcino?

This program may be something of an interest to you!

Estimated program cost is $6,995 which includes 6 credits of classes taught by the faculty from Florence University of Arts, air and ground transportation, all accommodations, full itinerary of day trip travel, most meals, art galleries, live theater, heath and travel insurance, cell phone, and much more.

There will be an informational meeting to discuss the details of the 2018 Study Abroad Program in Italy on the following dates and times.

ALL MCC students in good academic standing are eligible to participate:

Monday: November 27, December 4, & December 11 at 11:00am & noon in 3-157

Wednesday: November 29, December 6, December 13 at 11:00am & 4:30pm in 3-157

Tuesday: November 21 at 1:30 in 3-157

Tuesday: November 28 at 11:00am in 3-157

Tuesday: December 5 at 2:00pm in 3-157

Tuesday: December 12 at 2:00pm in 3-157

Students must register at MCC for HSP222 with the CRN 30013 and CRN32801

Financial aid may be available however students must act now as enrollment is limited and payments plan begins NOW!

Study Abroad Italy Payment Schedule 2017-18:

How to pay: The Student Center service desk in the Atrium of building 3, next to the Student Life office will accept payments in accordance to the payment plan listed below. All deposits are fully refundable until the first day of classes on Monday January 22, 2018.

All payments are payable to the MCC Association located in the Student Center of building #3 Brighton Campus

The price stated below is subject to change if airfare have substantial increased in price between today and February 2018 when round trip airfare will be purchased for each participant.

The cost of this four-week study abroad is approximately $6,995.00. The payment schedule is as follows.

Amount to be collected from each student will be $6, 995.00 per person

  • At time of registration 1st Deposit $500.00 per student, payable to the student center, MCC Association
  • November 15, 2017 2nd Deposit $1,000.00 per student
  • November 30, 2017 3rd Deposit $1,000.00 per student
  • December 22, 2017 4th Deposit $1,000.00 per student
  • January 15, 2017 5th Deposit $2,000.00 per student
  • February 15, 2017 - Final Payment $1,495.00 per student (estimated)*
