SiCKO and Donna Smith at DCC on Thursday!

On this Thursday, Sept. 4th, a very special Sociology Film Series at DCC event will take place at 3pm at Damon City Campus.  Donna Smith, whose story, including her trip to Cuba, was featured in Michael Moore’s (2007) documentary SiCKO, has offered to share her experiences with the MCC community.  SiCKO is “a scathing indictment of America's failing health system….(with) powerful personal testimonies…shocking statistics” (from DVD jacket).  According to Peter Travers from Rolling Stone, “You’ll laugh till it hurts”.
