Stop Messing with My Classroom!
It’s that time of year when I can’t resist moving everyone willie nillie around campus. I can’t control the impulse but I can be responsible enough to warn you that it’s happening. Your only form of self-defense, other than getting me fired, is to keep checking your 1F5 screen to see what idle fancy I am indulging in that will wreak havoc with your classroom assignments.
We are running the student schedules on the night of 8/26. After this date I will tone down my capricious cavorting in the room book. Changes made after 8/26 will result in a note to the course instructor, the department chair, the department secretary and a room change sign on the original classroom door. Obviously this involves much more work than just changing the room, so I try to keep these post student schedule changes to a minimum because I am basically pretty lazy.
Please check your 1F5 screen frequently between now and 8/26. If you see a problem with your room assignment, send me an email and I’ll try to get you what you need. I may not always be able to get you what you want, but I usually can get you what you need. (Isn’t this a Rolling Stones song? I hope I haven’t infringed on copyright laws.)
