Another MCC Story with a Happy Ending!

Nine little ducklings and their mom survived a close call on the Brighton Campus yesterday.

It all started when the family became stuck in the air intake grate in front of Bldg. 8. The authorities at MCC were contacted, and Facilities staff members Paul Pfennigner and Eric Mendel rushed to the scene. By the time our heroes arrived, mom had somehow gotten her ducklings out of the grate, but the family was far from water and in need of help.

Undaunted, Paul and Eric escorted the feathery group around the buildings to the pond near Lot M where mom and her little ones said their thank yous and enjoyed a swim.

Thank you, Paul and Eric!
