Classroom Facilities

It’s time for my appeal to the faculty on classroom issues. If you find you have more students than chairs in your assigned classroom, please contact me with the number of additional chairs you require.  I will then forward to our colleagues in Facilities, who are great at responding to our needs.  Please don’t “borrow” them from the room next door otherwise I’ll get notes from the thirteen folks who teach in that room! The sooner you can let me know, the sooner Facilities can react.

Hopefully everyone who teaches in a smart classroom has a key for that room.  If not, please contact Public Safety to acquire the key.  If you’re teaching in a smart classroom, please lock the door when you leave unless you are directly turning the room over to another faculty member.  The Super Bowl is coming, we don’t want someone watching it on one of our data projectors at their home!  I realize not everyone uses the overhead projector anymore.  But just because you don’t, please don’t push it out into the hallway.  Once again, one of the other faculty who teach in that room just might be planning on using it.

If you have a problem with any of the technology in your classroom, please utilize the AVAV (2828) line for ETS.  It’s the fastest way to get your issue resolved.

Have a great semester, if there’s anything I can do for you, please let me know.
