Do you have extra Halloween candy? The Wellness Council has an answer for you!

Did your kids bring home a lifetime supply of candy last night? Were you expecting more kids than what showed up at your door? Did you decide to treat yourself and now are regretting it? Consider a healthier and more rewarding alternative.

Operation Gratitude seeks to lift the spirits of the U.S. Military and First Responders, and each year they hold a Halloween Candy Give-Back program. In every care package they send to our troops, they provide a handful of candy. This event is hosted by dentists, businesses, groups and families in October and November of each year.

The Wellness Council is looking for your candy! Please bring your surplus to Sarah Benedict in the President's Office and we will deliver it to Brockport Smiles, a local and designated candy drop off location for Operation Gratitude. We will collect Halloween candy until Friday, November 9th.

No candy to donate? That's fine! Operation Gratitude is looking for other items as well. Click here to see those wish list items or to donate monetarily.

More information on Operation Gratitude and the Halloween Candy Give-Back program can be found here.

Thank you!
