MCC United Way Campaign

The United Way of Greater Rochester announced the 2006 campaign theme and goal this week. The new theme for the 2006 campaign is: “the way to help.”  This year’s theme is a great way to show how the MCC family joins together to help others with the many challenges facing our community. The goal will be the same goal met in 2005: $35.5M.

"This is still a good challenge for us," said Dennis Mullen, chairman of the 2006 campaign, during a news conference Tuesday at the Mary Cariola Children's Center. “With the community's stagnant economy, it made sense to keep the goal the same and to seek a broader donor base,” he said.

We are pleased to announce the kick-off for the MCC United Way of Greater Rochester campaign will begin April 12th and end on May 5th.  Our campaign goal will also be the same goal met in 2005: $100,000.

MCC has a history of generous giving to the United Way campaign. Let us continue to support building a better community by making a gift to the 2006 MCC United Way of Greater Rochester campaign.
