2006-07 FAFSA On The Web Worksheet

For students that are planning on completing their 2006-07 Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) using FAFSA On The Web, the 2006-07 FAFSA On The Web Worksheet is now available to help students and parents better prepare for that process.

Previously, students and parents would complete a paper FAFSA or the FAFSA Pre-Application Worksheet prior to completing the online FAFSA.  Due to the design of FAFSA On The Web, the questions were not in the same order as on the paper FAFSA or the Pre-Application Worksheet, which resulted in some confusion for applicants using FAFSA On The Web.  However, for the 2006-07 academic year, the Department of Education has created a new FAFSA On The Web Worksheet that is designed to provide online applicants a better tool to help facilitate the application process.  The Department of Education has made an effort to improve the instructions on the worksheet, as well as improve the differentiation between the student and parent questions.

Downloadable English and Spanish versions of the 2006-07 FAFSA On The Web Worksheet are available either on the FAFSA on the Web home page ( "https://www.fafsa.ed.gov/"www.fafsa.ed.gov) or in the 2006-07 Forms section of the MCC Financial Aid web page ( "https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/finaid"www.monroecc.edu/depts/finaid).  Printed copies of the 2006-07 FAFSA On The Web Worksheet are also available at the MCC Financial Aid Office and the DCC Student Services Center.
