MCC's Upward Bound Program Receives $230,000 Grant

Monroe Community College's Upward Bound program has received a $230,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to fund its operations for the 2002-2003 academic year.

Upward Bound is a program located at the college's Damon City Campus, 228 East Main Street, designed to support high school students from the Rochester City School District who want to attend a four-year college. Students must be from low-income households and be the first in their families to attend a four-year academic institution. Services provided to students include tutoring, mentoring, counseling, SAT and PSAT assistance.
