Holly Wheeler, Associate Professor in the English/Philosophy Department, has published two articles related to veteran students. The first, “Supporting Transitioning and Returning Service Members: The STARS Project at Monroe Community College,” is in this month’s League for Innovation Leadership Abstracts and highlights the STARS Project. “From Combat to Community College: Military Students in the Classroom” appears in this month’s Learning Abstracts and highlights the concerns and challenges veteran students experience in the community college classroom. Both are currently available on the League for Innovation website at "https://www.league.org/".
