We have received the final report submitted by our Middle States visiting team to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE ) and have posted it to the MCC Middle States web site <
https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/planning/middle-states/> . (It is password protected for employees only.) Please note: the document is the visiting team’s report to MSCHE; it is not a final determination of our accreditation status.
The next step in the reaffirmation process is for the MSCHE commissioners to consider the visiting team’s report at its June meeting. At that point, we will hear a formal ruling on our accreditation reaffirmation and have a final understanding of the expectation of the Commission regarding MCC’s follow-up on the recommendations. I will share that with you when it becomes available.
