Dwyer, Lucas receive awards for outstanding support to MCC's pre-collegiate programs.

Debra Dwyer, of the Education Department, and Paul Lucas, of the Controller’s Office, have been selected as recipients of the 2009 Kate Smith Marhatta Award.  This award recognizes outstanding support of MCC’s Pre-Collegiate Programs – Upward Bound, the Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP), and the Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP).

Dwyer and Lucas will have their names added to the perpetual plaque that hangs at Damon City Campus and will be recognized at one of the Pre-Collegiate Programs’ End-of-Year Banquet.

Dwyer and Lucas may not directly recognize it on a day-to-day basis, but the positive support that they provide to MCC’s Pre-Collegiate Programs enables the service of 300 youth in our community.

Thank you to Debra Dwyer and Paul Lucas for making a difference!
